The IUPUI School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) program in Indianapolis offers a Masters in Library Science degree accredited by the American Library Association. The SLIS program offers many dual degree and certificate program opportunities. IUPUI welcomes distance education inquires and provides students with the Friday Option (attend classes on campus one day a week). IUPUI strives to meet the needs of today’s learners that are working part/full-time of live far away from campus.
The Indiana SLIS program (MIS, MLS, & Ph.D.) in Bloomington is also accredited by the American Library Association and National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in Indiana. The Bloomington SLIS program is nationally known as one of the best programs for library and information education.
